New Takase Violet art 🙏

Nishiya's designs have this almost ethereal vibe that's very appealing, but the contrast in art direction between Eupho & Liz stands out as Mutsuo Shinohara handled both titles. And this time he had twice the work, since real events and the fairy tale have distinct flavor.

These backgrounds are such a lovely choice to go along with HisoMaso's very stylized character designs. A bit of a departure from Yuji Kaneko's usual work but it's beautiful nonetheless.

Peak Watanabe face. He's poked fun at his own usage of prominent cheekbones but it's always cute. Toei please let him do more character design work...

OK mandatory disclaimer - being a good artist doesn't mean they *have* to move up. These are by Aya Sato, who's exclusively been drawing in-betweens for them since the 90s. Not even in-between check, a role with more responsibility. Treating it as a valid role is important.

Mieko Hosoi drawing a bunch of illustrations for Takagi-san BD/CD releases is nice but it's making me wish she was involved with the show as well. Maybe on one of the new ending sequences...

Studio WIT's make-up animators/whatever other project-specific name they get credited as have been doing a great job beautifying shots and making them feel more like illustrations in general, but it's always the deep eyes that I find the most impressive.
