takafumi hayashi eyeballs are interesting. somewhere in between? not quite A Pro ovals but also far from stock gag eyes; they are stylized in a more angular (kanada-inspired?) way

i like how proactive magoo is here, causing all the problems with his nutty detective fantasies rather than passively letting stuff happen to him. very "duck twacy"

the animation is kinda oddly sluggish but they do a nice job at preserving the original scratchy style

marshall was great at drawing vindictive little brats. sort of like peanuts where all the kids are fatter and (more) evil

if there's one thing sleeping beauty has going for it it's that it has some really well drawn hair (animation by marc davis)
