Before working at Tantallon Castle in 1981 and being mad about Castles and medieval armour. I was mad on the TV shows of Doctor Who, Space 1999 and the weekly comic of with Judge Dredd. Some of my comic story drawings from 1979 and Dalek comic idea from 2006.

In 1388 James 2nd Earl of Douglas was stabbed in the back by his own armour bearer Bickerton. Bickerton in turn was killed between the Friary & Luffness Castle by Ramsay of Waughton (before he could be questioned). Ramsay then disappeared. Archie The Grim masterminded the murder.

Nothing like the smell of fresh bread. In medieval times they cut it length ways with the 'upper crust' going to the well to do Lords & the bottom half used as a plate & given to the poor. That's why rich folks today are called upper crust.
