ulquiorra who heard her hearts speech. ulquiorra who asked her where in her heart was and ichigo came barreling in as if to answer.

because in legend, rain is what keeps the boy from seeing his love. which is why i found it interesting that ulquiorras release was like rain. to let us the viewers see the foreshadowing/how ichigo must feel, but also the significance of it being ulqui, the one who took ori.

for all of the story, thru ichigo, we see rain as the equivalent of despair. loss, failure. because of his trauma with his mother and the complexes its given him over those emotions. but also on an overarching look at the manga, why rain? why is it rain that he wants to clear?

the fact that in both pilot & current story, orihime’s family member was upset & became hollowified they say cuz orihime got distracted w/ ichigo, its why they want to kill her—to take her for themselves away from whos stolen her heart. & sora is still characterized like a father

firstly on how our lil princess is of legend: always shown with 7’s, the month and day of tanabata.
