Sometimes feels like society is so character-focused that the narrative in landscape art gets overlooked... BUT if anything the biggest missed opportunity in illustration may actually be the 'humble' still life. I haven't any recent examples , but if you do, share them!

@SHelmigh A lot of people seem ready to relinquish landscapes to the AI. But landscapes have stories to tell, too, in both subtle and blatant choices that most people don't know to make, much less a machine.

The 'Silksteel Jungles' are not to everyone's taste, of course... given the robot spiders and all.

All this talk of AI vs artistic learning has me considering some of the many 'master studies' I've done over the years. Although I learned something from each of these, they're not for profit certainly, and they're only tiny influences, not used to 'make X by Y'.
