In @MegenJM 's #BAVS2019 paper on upcycling Victorian fiction & art to create notions of monstrosity we were treated to a selection of images from the work of Colin Batty (Victorian cabinet cards with monstrous additions) & Charlotte Cory (Victorian photos with taxidermy heads).

Alisa v zazerkale/Alice Through the Looking Glass (1982) a sequel from Kievnauchfilm (see film 41). Again different animation styles throughout. Lovely to see rarely included scenes ie train/insects & characters in the right book! This pair topping list. #CheshireOnAlice film 44.

F*ck Fairyland aka I Hate Fairyland @skottieyoung Although the cover features an #AliceInWonderland-styled figure, the main character is Get who has been trapped in Fairyland for 30 years. Artwork is fab: fairytale cute + grotesque gore. #CheshireOnAlice
