Looks like #Europe will have a prolonged period of near record heat next week.

Wow! What a warm forecast ridge. We will see if this verifies next week. It does already feels like #spring in much of #Europe, which will continue if models are correct.

On this Tuesday an exceptionally frigid airmass by mid November standards is bringing record cold chill to a good chunk of North America. As usual from what we have seen in 2019, the rest of the planet, not so much.

I can't recall in my career starting in 1983 seeing a heat dome this strong or pronounced forecast by all guidance to be over the Scandinavian countries this weekend. Look for many all-time records to fall. @DekeArndt @Sustainable2050 @MichaelEMann @AarneGranlund @bhensonweather
