While most of Europe is freezing,an exceptional warm spell is giving a tropical night in the area of the Black Sea.
Temperatures rose above 31C in Turkey and near dawn are still hovering 26C in the Northern coast with strong fohn: temperatures much above a typical July night.

March 2023 in #Norway was very cold:Temperature anomaly was 2.9C below the 1991-2020 norm.(left map)
It was wetter than normal in SE and North while it was drier in SW and central areas (right map).

Let's talk about Morocco and Canary Islands:

Today temperatures reached 37.4C at Taroudant in Morocco and 35.1C at Tazarte in Gran Canaria Island.
If you think this is way hot for March,wait for what it's coming in the next days
Both Morocco and Canary Islands could approach 40C

Here we are again:
Another extreme heat wave is coming next days between China,the Koreas,Japan and Vietnam.
40C is expected in both China and Vietnam.
How many records will be broken ? HUNDREDS is a conservative answer
The heat wave will be followed by a drastic temperature drop

Central Asia is living an unbelievable hot March.
Temperatures have been constantly at record levels in the former USSR Republics,with up to 35C in Turkmenistan but also >30C at few hundreds meters asl in Tajikistan for several days.
And there is no sign this is gonna end.

Record heat waves allover Asia with again 33C in Turkmenistan,31C in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan,28C in Kazakhstan and in Kyrgyzstan even at 800m.
In South Korea 25.4C at Icheon broke the record for March.
It is a record warm spell for thousands of stations across Asia

Record warm night in New South Wales,Australia.
Some stations had their highest Tmin ever for March:
26.5C Scone Airport,25.2C Gunnedah ,21.8C Mount Seaview,23.8C Lostock Dam among others.

Huge contrasts in Asia:
Today temperatures plunged as low as -38.0C in Kazakhstan,-27.2C in Uzbekistan,-22.4C in Turkmenistan and -26.6C in Iran (Sarab,1500m).
Very hot in Oman yesterday with 32.8C in the capital Muscat followed by widespread tropical nights.
