The number of assets Color Designers handle per episode, is staggering. One reason is that a single design assignment can easily multiply into several in color. But as assignment counts increase, paychecks decrease.

They require similar skill sets & yet the Journey minimum for Color Design is 14.4% less than Background Paint. Animation studios need to pay Color Designers fairly if they want to keep talented members working in this essential craft.
