Not super related, but I just remembered that Vagrant Story was called The Phantom Pain. Vagrant Story is one of the few games I can think of that Kojima openly admitted he thought outdid MGS, so TPP could be an homage to that or, keeping with the themes of V, "revenge." https://t.co/fq6WqoSViQ
One neat thing about #MetalGearSolid 3 is that it fully contextualizes what is basically an event flag into the game's world to keep player goals and character goals aligned.

@kittensoft39 Definitely. Always boggles my mind every time I remember how vast and detailed Suikoden's world is and how there's a lot of it we haven't even seen.

I honestly don't know whether or not it's popular, but I don't like it at all, haha. I guess I can't help comparing it to these versions that I think look much better.
#MetalGearSolid 3 does something neat with its setting. Compared to previous #MetalGear games, 3 feels more linear. You're in a vast jungle — a natural and largely untouched space — but the way you traverse the game's series of maps makes you acutely aware...
