Ok, reached my limit. I can see why this is a cult classic, the system is interesting, the characters are fun and I want to see where the story goes... but it has SO. MUCH. TRASH. COMBAT.
Might made sense in 2000, for people who got 1 game per year, but it's unbearable today :/
I'm enjoying the game, but you can only save at very specific points and a surprise boss battle killed me & made me lose more than 1h of progress hahaha

Was making a list of 2020 RPGs and remembered that Godfall came out a month ago.
Never saw a single person talking about it, and all the reviews were "repetitive & boring as fuck". Kinda sad, really.
I have a special fondness for early 90's PC games, when UX wasn't a thing yet and you could basically do whatever you want with the game's interface:
Speaking of PS1 graphics, the sprite work in Suikoden II is really amazing. We had 22 years of people copying it in RPG Maker, but it still stands out.
