I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is a good aesthetic for female characters
The author of Combat Baker writing an 86 spinoff novel was not what I had on my bingo card, but I'm interested.
Combat Baker is also a novel that gets really direct about political topics. But let's see how the author's right-wing preaching meshes with 86's setting 😅
@Deirdrefulmetal There's an Another Eden character with that name too 😀
Really like her, she's majestic and cool
The Saga of Tanya the Evil mobile game ended service before I even realised it launched. I remember hearing about it when it was announced last year, but I totally thought the game hadn't even been released yet 😳
It only occurred to me recently what a smart writing move it was for Demon Slayer to hinge Tanjiro's motivation on sibling love. The opening act would have fallen so flat if Nezuko had been the love interest instead
Picked up a copy of Sword Art Online Progressive volume 7 yesterday. It's been 3 years since I last read SAOP but these books ain't too hard to follow. The main point is watching Kirito and Asuna flirt and spout trivia at each other, after all
I was given the opportunity to write about the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel films for @AllTheAnime
Join me as I explain how a cult game became one of the best anime films

Started reading Stars Twinkle in Tomorrow World. It opens with the girl stuck in a zombie apocalypse. Her penguin strap turns into a giant Emperor penguin, swallows her whole, and escorts her to safety before reverting into the cute little guy you see on the cover. I'm sold.
Finished Book Girl volume 5. This was adapted into a bad anime film in 2010, but I forgot pretty much everything in that.
Anyway, the book is a high drama page-turner. Love the soap opera shenanigans in this series
