The Empress: The spider. I struggled with picking this one because I think there are a lot of choices for The Empress in particular, but if she's the creator, the mother, the beginning of an idea before the realization, then she's the spider.

Peter's humor gets labeled as self-deprecating a lot, which it can be sometimes but not always -- there's a really definite sarcastic edge here: "just imagine what I could do if I WASN'T a phony coward!" This is the kind of line you KNOW is delivered with confidence.

"S. Rosen, Spidey's second cousin on his uncle's side!" Not to like continually bring up the Peter Parker's Jewish thing, but Peter Parker is extremely Jewish.

Thinking about this like, Sue's "premonitions" are often played off as ye olde female intuition in early Fantastic Four but you don't alert all the other superhero teams bc your wife has a feeling SOMETHING might be off. What I'm saying is, psychic Sue Storm.
