LOVE the art by Mark Beachum in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #20, it makes Peter look so long and lanky and spider-y.

BANTER the back and forth between them is so fun and such a good way to show that, despite the protestations at this point in their relationship, they already like each other a lot. You don't fall into that kind of rhythm with just anybody.

not to reveal how much time I put into thinking about how to structure Spider-Man's quips but I DO think people go too light, too rambly, too often. "Don't kid yourselves! You guys have nothing to give!" is DEVASTATING.

thinking about ex-spider-man MC2 peter... love him. honestly one of the biggest joys of the character, I think, is how scary competent he is, whether or not he's been in the game recently.
