picking Spider-Man bitten by the spider panels and going with Ultimate Spider-Man's instead of JMS' run's "the hunter. wounded. irradiated. dying. angry. (...) you were a hunter without teeth. you were chosen for your rage (...) there was only one hunter."
The Spider-Man Noir scene where Peter shoots the Vulture really is a favorite of mine partly because it's a really good scene and partly because it illustrates perfectly how the circumstances of Ben's death directly impact the ways Peter handles his vigilante identity.
Disney+'s Magneto icon having glowing red demon eyes to pepper in the fact that they're antisemitic
@foeyeahboi @crowkids the actual plot was so bad but Peter sinking his heels deep into his high school teacher background like "what the fuck Edward" was good
"Operator! Get me the Fantastic Four! How should I know? Look in the phone book!" JJJ is such a treasure of a character and I mean that with the utmost sincerity.
The thing about Stan Lee writing Amazing Spider-Man is that a lot of the humor is SO Jewish, like May getting kidnapped and her response being "A doctor! How nice!"
Peter dangling at the end of a flagpole is so funny. I love the way the action lines make his struggle to hang on feel so real.
in some things he gets better with age............ not necessarily this thing though.
I'm marking it down on the calendar: March 25th 2020, Franklin is now also calling Dr. Doom "Uncle Victor." The Fantastic Four are never getting rid of him at Thanksgiving now. He is sinister tin-plated FAMILY.
