The "you are more beautiful than anyone has ever been able to describe" line from today's The Thing #4 reminded me of one of my favorite Silver Surfer AND Spider-Man scenes, from Silver Surfer Requiem #2.

I do like the comparison between skill levels and the acknowledgment that Peter should be ALWAYS ahead of everyone's game, and also Felicia's little kitty ear backpack. But if her posing like that can't snap him back into it, nothing can.

Super mixed feelings on this art because it's REALLY pretty and Felicia looks amazing but I'm so tired of this more generic face and hair on Peter. It makes him look too young and not nearly distinct enough by comparison. He needs some character especially in the nose area.

Gonna put this guy in a Spider-Man fic.
