So Kaine also comes at things sidelong -- he can't confront the Jackal on his own behalf. He does it because of what the Jackal is doing to Peter, who he views as worthy of being protected, unlike himself. When the Jackal's attention is directed back to him, Kaine becomes small.
It's always fun when you can find Kaine and Peter pulling the exact same move.
If Spider-Man Beyond wants to keep currying my favor, I'm going to need Kaine to show up with his hair still in the Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider style. Because it was cute.
see, Peter's narration agrees: Kaine is just a baby clone and all these murders were not his fault.
this is SO CREEPY the jackal is SO CREEPY and that photographer is definitely a peter clone.
I'm not gonna reread Scarlet Spider until I clear the Clone Saga at least but Scarlet Spider is so good.
