+ It's Puyo Puyo! It's fine! Probably the best-looking 16bit version of Puyo Puyo, a high-tension puzzler
- It's Puyo Puyo! It's problematic! Knock-outs can be too fast
Now that's just plain cruel.
BTW, have Lolo & Lala had ANY representation in Smash Bros? I mean.. Iwata himself worked on the franchise at one point.

+ Fun, original concept that's never been replicated. Level (puzzle?) design is incredibly thoughtful. Never gets boring.
- I wish you could switch angles.
Kirby's Dream Course has LEGS. This is a concept that indie developers might want to tinker with and refine. I know that quirky golf is a thing right now, but that's the thing about Dream Course: the quirk actually takes a back seat to elegant, precision gameplay.
I've never had a hole-in-one on the 8th hole of the first course. This 9 matches my best score ever.
I'll take it.
I just really love Kirby's Dream Course. I think this is a concept with legs. Imagine what, with today's horsepower and graphics, you could do with this now. Wow.
It is said that the Kim family of North Korea, when they go golfing, averaged five aces every time he went golfing and consistently shot 34 under par.
To that I say............
I played the first course too much and not enough of the 2nd course. Or the rest of the courses.
One thing I'm curious about, and I'll need my older fans to tell me this: did you notice Special Tee Shot on the back of SNES packaging, and if you did, did you realize this was it?
I just aced the third hole in a way I've never done before. I didn't even use the high jump.
I probably won't return to Special Tee Shot and I wasn't going to review or rank it. It was a treat type of thing. I planned to play all day.
When you're unjustly put on bad-faith blast, it messes you up physically. I still haven't recovered. Digital or not, it's assault.
Kirby's Dream Courses started development as an entirely different game called Special Tee Shot.
And I have a copy. Let's try it really quick!
