Iron Fist and his Amazing Friends
Issue 14: Every Day on The Bird Website
#GettinFisty 👊
okay but Singularity and Kobik team-up when??
two near omnipotent young girls just finding their place in this bitch of a multiverse
Lastly, if any of what I've said sounds cool to you and you'd like to learn a little bit more about the marvelous Misty Knight, here are my Top 4 recommendations.
- Luke Cage on Netflix
- Daughters Of The Dragon (2018)
- All-New Captain America (2014)
- Iron Fist Vol. 1 (1974)
After Iron Fist was brought back in the 90s Misty would have her own resurgence in popularity, going on to become a breakout character in her own right, eventually leading to her being introduced as a side character in the Luke Cage Netflix show, rather than the Iron Fist show.
Aight but like, the story of Bei Bang-Wen and Vivatma Visvajit absolutely has romantic subtext, right? Usually I don't read into things like that but even I, with my cold unreachable heart, felt something for these two.
Paging @TalkingNatchios and @LetsTalkMock. How do you feel about this?
Feels like Marc Guggenheim had some opinions about Civil War II...
I'll never get over the fact that our big takeaway from The Incredibles was "no capes" and not "more domino masks"
I sincerely hope the end of this mini-series doesn't also equal the end of The Union. I've wanted a resurgence in British superhoes for so long and this group looks like the perfect lot to be at the forefront of it all (alongside Captain Britain, naturally).
We all mocked.
We all jeered.
We all laughed at the very idea of doing another Clone Saga.
But I'll be damned if this doesn't look like an incredibly interesting chapter in the thus-far exceedingly entertaining Miles Morales book. This feels like a modern take on classic comics.
