@sarahkuhn @NicoleGoux And if SHADOW OF THE BATGIRL is your first exposure to Cassandra Cain and Barbara Gordon as Team Batgirl and you want more, have I got good news for you. @DamionScott2, Kelley Puckett, Scott Peterson, Robert Campanella and company's run is available in a trio of trades.
@haleshannon @Halespawn @victoriaying @GoodComics4Kids BTW, DIANA: PRINCESS OF THE AMAZONS reveals that, on Themyscira, the Amazons read Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld comics to relax.
I just (belatedly) read @geneluenyang and @Gurihiru's SUPERMAN SMASHES THE KLAN #2, and it's still great. I love the way this team handles Lois Lane so much.
But, if you completely forgot about them, then how did you list them...?
I particularly enjoyed the classic Dungeons & Dragons monsters gallery (Check out that gelatinous cube, @mikesterling!)
Is it weird that @DCComics got Julie Maroh and Alex Sanchez to do an entire original graphic novel about Aqualad II...? They're good gets for the publisher, and all the YA ogns of theirs I've read so far have been good, but man, what a world we live in now...
@cavanscott @e_charretier @IDWPublishing Being a sophisticated adult with sophisticated adult tastes, I of course did not read the book, but I sure spent some time drinking in @e_charretier's art. A lot of folks draw Star Wars comics and suchlike these days, but I'm fairly certain she draws them them better than anyone.
I came across another of those STAR WARS: CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY books written by @cavanscott and illustrated by @e_charretier, both of whom you may know from @IDWPublishing's STAR WARS ADVENTURES comics.
Is it weird to note that while comic book coloring has obviously gotten infinitely more advanced since the late 1980s, I actually prefer the flatter, brighter, less-nuanced coloring of old...?
@DCComics All that said, I do like more about JUSTICE LEAGUE in general than I dislike, and it's the last DC comic I'm still buying and reading in its serially-published floppy form.
Oh, and art mistake or not, I kinda like the gloves Etrigan wore to this battle:
