Works of the legendary Khanty artist Gennady Stepanovich Raishev. He mostly made paintings based on Ob-Ugric mythology and history. His style is pretty abstract and modern, but there is a distinctive Khanty feel to it all.

Grigory Yerogovich Vereshchagin (1851-1930) was the first Udmurt writer, aswell as a historian, poet, ethnologist, teacher and Orthodox priest. He taught in schools in Udmurtia, worked as a priest for Buranovo village and did huge work in documenting Udmurt culture and tradition.

The Glyadenov culture was a descendant of the Ananyino culture, carried by the ancestors of Komis on the Kama river from the 3rd c BC to the 5th c AD. Glyadenov is notable for marking the beginning of Permian animal style - a style of mysterious bronze casts made in ancient Perm.
