Head Jüripäeva! Jüripäev on millegi pärast väga vähe tähistatud püha tänapäeva Eestis, arvestades kui palju see päev sümboliseerib. Püha Jüri, uue poolaasta ja suvetööde algus, viljakus ja elu tärkamine, rääkimata Jüriöö ülestõusu algusest 679 aastat tagasi.
All prayers and rites in the küsoto (sacred grove) were accompanied by the küsle, as it's sound was considered to be divine. Mari princes of the past, such as Čumbõlat and Poltõš, used to pray in groves to the sound of the küsle, before riding out to battle.
