I think the reason why drawing in this style is so relaxing is that it's so much faster to draw in – the lines took about 15 minutes, I think? Maybe I'll even get the colouring and some shading done in my next break...
Cecil and Roderick...
I'm a little late, but I wanted to try something for #MaidDay... uh... I can't explain myself for this one. I just wanted to draw them both in the outfit...
Quick scribble (trying to) put my newfound horse drawing skills to use.
I need to practice a lot more (with many more references... please ignore the disproportionate size for now), but I can finally start drawing Cecil and her horse (who I'm calling May, based off SoV's Mae).
It's not what I usually draw, but here are egg waffles, or 雞蛋仔! It's a popular Hong Kong street food commonly sold from street stalls (alongside other food like siu mai and fish balls), and best eaten when hot, with the crispy edges and soft, fluffy egg bubbles (??).
I heard about Roderick and aprons and I was intrigued. I also don't draw him being actually happy enough and I wanted to do that too...

Sorry for spamming this again, but I wanted to put them side by side... the power of shading (doing the shiny parts was fun).
I've just been thinking about the types of food I associate with the 7th Platoon. Most of it is based on colour, now that I think about it...
The cookies don't look very appetising but other than that, we now have dessert...
I don't think I've ever posted this, but I actually have another Meet the Heroes styled collection for Roderick which I drew a while back. Unfortunately this one is the only one out of the four which looks alright... (I really don't like how the other three turned out)
