If you're up super late then you can see this update of a fanfic illustration I've been working on today. Something is wrong with r angle of Relm's face, and I left off some of Terra's arm fuzz, but all things considered I think it's coming along OK!

Sneak preview of a roxeri (Locke and Celes) thing, it's kind of a hot mess so far but I'm kind of happy with it although I have no idea what to make her dress look like, I should just do whatever feels right in my heart, right?

Starting with some art I finished earlier this year — gay mermaids, and The Star (tarot)

Here's a closeup of the figure. I'm actually pretty happy with how this came together!

Looking at the old version, I can see my frustration in the lines and the coloring because my tools and skills weren't coming together; those were both in a better place for this version.

Same picture, 2022 version vs 2018 version. I think I've improved at drawing AND coloring, without realizing it? So that feels good!

(Also, 4 years ago I didn't understand that ADHD was why I forgot things existed, so I didn't have tools in place to help stay on top of them)

Here is the full version of my FFVI valentine's day picture, featuring Locke and Celes being all smoochy ♥ I worked on this over the weekend, partly on stream, and while it's not perfect, I'm stil really happy with it.

I just love them so much.

Did I make it better or worse? :/ I can't even tell

I suspect this is a sign that I should put it away, but I really want this to be my valentine picture for tomorrow!

Is it done? I'm not sure. I wanted to make something very detailed and real-feeling, more like the character portraits I made last month, but it kept just ... being really sketchy-feeling, with both the colors (all one later) and the lines...
