Terra update. I worked on her hands; they could probably use some more work, but it's a start. I also worked on the details on her outfit and overall she looks a lot better - just need to fix the hands and I think she might be done!

FFVI WIP. I can't seem to stop working on this. I want a matching set, which meant reworking Locke's face again (and there's still more work to be done) — but I think they're coming along so far!

I started inking/coloring Edgar and Sabin tonight too. The finish line is in sight?

Closeup on her face. It's been interesting hearing more FFVI fans talk about the game because I hadn't realized how much Terra is overwhelmingly the fan-favorite character. Doing my best to do her justice...

Terra WIP update!

I've been working on this set off and on, and while there are obviously parts that are still heavily in progress (like her hands!), I feel like overall it's coming together pretty well. I'm just rolling with it, even if there are anatomical issues...

Celes!!

Another update before I dive back into work. I took a silly reference photo of my own hand with scissors to get that sword hand right, made her other hand a bit bigger, tweaked the face and hair a little more, and changed the cropping. It's getting closer!

I did a little writing, but I did fail to go to bed early tonight - but anyway I got started on Terra because I am frustrated with the rest.

I feel like her head is out of proportion with her body, maybe? Like maybe it's a little big? But it's also possible it's just her hair?

Making progress! Here's an update on how Celes is coming. I redrew her hair, a little of her face, and then some of the anatomy overall. Still need to redo the hand? But it's coming along and I feel like I'm heading in a good direction. Probably tackling Terra next?

Oh no, I am officially back on my FFVI bullshit like you wouldn't believe. There's still a ton of work to be done on Celes here, but as an early-stage WIP I think it's coming along well! I think I might have to work on all five simultaneously...

I promised FFVI content, right? I wasn't kidding. Spent my lunch break working on this picture of Locke.

Couldn't figure out Paintshop Pro, so I just used my new tablet with my usual software (gimp). Coloring is all one layer, pretending to be colored pencils. So far so good!
