I committed the classic comic sin in making this, in that I turned off the speech bubbles, then started painting.. and then covered up my background entirely with the speech bubbles.

And 1/37 pages of @xav1ul's "The Gang Accuses TID of War Crimes" transcript is done! Had to shake off the rust on colouring, but this means the rest of the pages should go a hell of a lot faster. :)

Shaking off the rust.

Colouring always seems like so much fun, until I remember it requires remembering how to colour. About to start back over on this with an eye towards values first, but it's very satisfying to finally be at the point where it's coming together visually!

A lot of random little deets in this bullshit that I am not expecting other people to notice, but I'm very pleased over all the same: sometimes the true meaning of being in a cult trying to define itself by unity is taking the same weapon and stabbing in different ways.

I got deeply annoyed over symbology a few days ago, so: some bullshit from the notebook and fucking around, partially born from the disrupted / scattered tiles inside of Instrument Supply.
