Hi, #MGBookChat! I'm an author (The Secret of Zoone is my latest) and creative writing teacher in Vancouver. As a kid, I was in a pilot program for creatively gifted students. I spent grades 4-6 in the same classroom with the same teacher.

I love receiving letters from readers, so I always have my creative writing students write them to their favorite authors. I tend to have no rules for this (except the author has to be alive). We always send the letters snail mail, always with wax embossing. 💌🖊️💌

What? It's national chocolate day? I remember, fondly, working on The Chocolatier's Apprentice with @victorianunuk all those years ago. What a fun project! And we got a secret tour of @PurdysChocolate factory in Vancouver!

#MGBooktober Day 27: Well, I'm going to get completely selfish here and say that I'm looking forward to the paperback release of my latest book, The Secret of Zoone in January and then it's sequel The Guardians of Zoone in February!
