@000Angus000 @rexthedogge Yeah, there were some good ones.
I did like both the Batman games. (The one with the Fred Gray music is excellent.) 👍
The first RoboCop game was also quite good. (Just let him run around a shoot stuff, is a good strategy.)
And, of course Platoon is an exceptional game. 😎
@cSportDriving Though, of course, you guys might be using some of this fancy new technology that allows car sounds *and* music at the same time. 😉
@cSportDriving I even found that cliffs are approved too. 👍
I'd forgotten just how much variety there is on Lotus III.
I think that was why that one appealed to me. Though I realize now, the Lotus III music is *not* good. Don't listen to it. Car noises all the way. 😎
@zappedtothe @SyntaxErrorSoft I think my problems with it:
1) I'd already found a great bike game in Speed King
2) We'd already had Pitstop II for two years, and it was basically the same thing with a bike.. and no second player
3) That tyre-sequel sound sounded wrong, and slowly drilled a hole in my head 😐
@zappedtothe @SyntaxErrorSoft Epyx's Super Cycle was certainly pretty.. 🤔
I'm not sure what it was about it. It just never grabbed me. 🏍️
@CommodoreBlog They were prolific, back in the day.
I recall seeing quite a few disks with that eagle pic being the first thing seen..
@DazAU78 @MrAlexBoz @RetroDomination @CommodoreBlog @RetroGamerNatn @bastichb64k The only soccer game you'll ever need.
👍
@MarkRJones1970 The first thing I do when I set up an emulator is work out how I can get perfect 2x2 pixels out of it. Makes it so much easier for getting nice crisp screenshots. (The only one I couldn't work out easily is MAME, but I can scale in photoshop to the exact resolution to fix it.) 👍
