@Bakuiel @TheRetroRoomRoo Ah, I think you might be thinking of the 16-bit ports.. The first two enemy bosses being a huge bipedal robot, the second being a spider-like one, that drops webs on the ground.
@Bakuiel @TheRetroRoomRoo It was also ported to the Amiga, with an expanded intro scenario and cut-scenes, and they added boss characters to the end of each level. (I wasn't a fan of the boss characters. They didn't fit with the look of everything else, IMHO. But a good port, nonetheless.) 🕹️
@JamesPond47 It's one of those things where it'd always be nice to have the C64 version take better advantage of the C64's hardware. But business decisions seem to get in the way of that. 🤔 Also, if you're copying the speccy code exactly, you don't have to look for new bugs. (in theory.) 😉
@rexthedogge How did I never pick up on the music being Whittaker?
Some great tunes in there.
👍
@MartinkSimms @rexthedogge The C64 version only had.. was it three stages?
So it wasn't crazy-hard to loop. 😁
Commando Arcade though .. much more of a challenge.
That one took a while (and maybe a little cheating.) 😋
