@JamesPond47 @ausretrogamer I think the Zzap crew were dead on, that most of the attraction of the arcade was its graphics and sound (and the funky handlebar controls.) The C64 version was kinda ugly. But it was different enough that I persisted with it, and kinda enjoyed its fun, with a dash of cruelty. 😋

Deliver newspapers to your customers. But if someone is not a customer, throw papers in their windows, which will make them become a customer tomorrow. (?) The arcade kinda spells it out, but only says about hitting targets. A bit vague. 🤔

@2dgamemania @CommodoreBlog Buggy Boy is an interesting one, as there are a lot of cool versions of it to play. 👍 The Amiga version looks pretty good.. maybe a little slow. But, WHDLoad-installed, you get options to tweak the frame-rate, and overall game speed, as much as you'd like. 😁

@O_Stogden @cSportDriving This is what I love about driving games: tearing down a hill-side road.. awesome. 👍 In real life I'm much slower and foot-on-the-brake all the time. 🤔 A much better appreciation of my mortality than I had as a young lad. 😁

@JamesPond47 @CompStuff @newIapetus Yeah. Those snooze's and lift-inits are sometimes really needed for the last room or two. 🤔 But sometimes you can chance it that there's nothing important behind that furniture, and try to solve the puzzles anyway. That's the fun of this game. 😁

I've probably said it before, but it has to be said again: Alien Breed 2 is a stunningly beautiful game. Just gorgeous. 👍

I mean, call me old-school, but I thought the trick was to play it, and play it again, and again, until you win. 😋

I mean sure, reading book can be fun. But I find it really takes away from my gaming time. 😁
