@daph2theb @jimblimey IK+ is such a great game. 👍
It took me absolutely years to find out how they did three characters like that. I thought for sure they must be all sprites. Making one out of characters seemed like it would take up so much extra RAM. Surely that would never be done. 😋
@njpixelgaming @newIapetus Music in my head..

C64 games tonight. Who knows Oink? As I recall, it's a game of a comic, where all the characters are pigs? (I never saw this comic.) So, in the game, you are the editor, trying to put together the comic, playing sub-games to win panels for the comic. The sub-games are quite good.
@gamecactus That would be ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery.)
It's been a personal favourite of mine for a while. 😁

Available for Windows/Mac/Linux on Steam.
Older (ASCII-only) versions for DOS/Amiga/Linux available for free too. 😎
@CommodoreBlog Occasional trips into the maze.. 🤔 The path that leads to the pleasuredome, once you've maxed all your stats, IIRC. That damn Zang Tuum Tumb logo puzzle, that I always *think* I understand how the buttons work.. then eventually I give up and madly click randomly at it. 😋
It's not perfect: there's no variety to the colour of the bad-guys outfits, and the saloon doors don't animate when people enter. But it's got the hideout level, and the horse-guys, dynamite-guys, and window-guys. So overall, this is really very well done. Lots of fun to play. 👍
I was reminded by @000angus000 that there's an Amiga version of High Noon on Aminet. To which a couple of cells at the back of my brain started twitching, as if I somehow knew of this. Sure enough, installed on the virtual Amiga is this very game. 😁 It's quite a good conversion.
@C64Boy @EC64Forum @JudgeDrokk So many good soundtracks on the C64 .. they start to get hard to pick now. 😁 Commando and Shadowfire are definitely good ones. 👍 Enigma Force and Mutants are a couple I'd mention too, if you like Fred Gray's muzak. 😎
