Retrogaming of the 8 and 16 bit variety. That's my jam. 😎

The advantage of the Windows port is that it can show the tables at a full 640x480 or 800x600, and so have just about all of the table visible. I found it a bit annoying that the front-end is all 640x480, so it switches resolutions every time you launch a table. Minor detail. 😁

Okay, so y'all know that there's an Amiga pinball game called Slam Tilt. (And it's really good. I mean, anyone who likes Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions is sure to like this.) But how many of you know that they made it for Windows too?

Brilliantly-original wee budget title.
It's a pretty good puzzle-type of game. Add in that kicking Hubbard soundtrack and it's a lot of fun.

Ah, see it's good that you guys were familiar with Leaderboard. I think the control scheme for Sensible Golf was really good.. and it does have that similarity with the Leaderboard Golf games that made Sensi Golf easy to migrate to. 👍

But, as a text adventure, it's not good. It understands "n" and "d", but it doesn't understand "north" or "down". 😮 And what's worse: it may kill you for typing something it doesn't know. Also, looking in drawer will find something, and then looking *again* finds something else!

Gremlins, the text adventure on the C64 is a strange one. I mean it's not a good text adventure. ie: it has a limited and inconsistent vocabulary. But it follows the basic beats of the movie well enough that, as a fan of the movie, I really enjoyed going through it. 😁

Hmmm.. 🤔
Manic Miner, Auf Wiedersehen Monty, Jet Pac, and Underwurlde were the ones I kept playing .. and playing .. and playing. 😁

When checking out Pole Position, I was thinking about Pitstop 1. Many people have seen Pitstop 2, but how many of you have seen its predecessor? I believe I first saw this on Cartridge running on the demo machine at the local computer shop. 🤔 Thankfully, it's still fun to play.
