One of the best educational titles on the C64 is Donald Ducks Playground. Donald can work in one of four jobs to earn money to pay for fun items for his nephews top use in the playground. Nothing Earth-shattering in terms of gameplay, but I actually kinda enjoy the work/games. 🙂

As a kid, I remember the demo C64 at the shop in town. I only ever remember seeing it playing International Soccer, Summer Games, and Tales of the Arabian Nights. I don't remember anyone getting past the first level, so I always kinda thought of it as a mediocre platform game. 🤔

@DigitalStefan @UridiumAuthor I quite liked the inertia Cool Coyote had on the ice levels of Fire and Ice.. though I could see, when friends would play it, that those ice sections were tricky for them. 🤔 I think that would have been better for later levels, though it wouldn't fit the storyline so well. 😎

@rexthedogge I really got into Uchi Mata back in the day. It's one that needs a joystick to play properly, as it has all these rolling movements to execute any of the throws. (Like fire, hold 🡐, then move 🡗 🡓 🡖 🡒, then 🡐 to do the title-move.) 😮

@JamesPond47 @Al82_Retro @dantootill Yeah. The lakes and swamps to cross. 🤔 They were not the best part of that game. I did manage to get quite good at the rock-jumping, but now that I'm a little rusty with the game, that part is starting to get to me again. 😐 But I can always just use an infinite-lives cheat. 😋

@JamesPond47 @Al82_Retro @dantootill I'm actually not sure if I ever tried Gryzor on the C64. 🤔 ..It's on my list now. 😋 But I can tell you that, for sure, I did play Platoon, and it was glorious. (Damned hard, but I was a kid with too much time .. I was able to make it to the last level.) 👍
