Retrogaming of the 8 and 16 bit variety. That's my jam. 😎

Oh yeah.
There was an "Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road" (say that all in one breath) cab at one of the arcades in town. Absolutely loved it. I'm sure I spent a ton of money on it. 😎

And then there's the Championship Sprint ROMs..
(Same game, different tracks.)

I keep flip-flopping on which one I prefer. 😁

Super Sprint was always such a cool game.
Love it. 😁

(Especially those spinny steering wheels. Made the game so much fun.) 👍

Very nice.
I once had some of those.
Some really excellent games. 👍

Heh.. Wikipedia says there were around 65,000 of them produced. I wonder if there was a conversation at the factory:
"We've produced over 65,000 units. We have to stop production soon."
"Why?"
"All our inventory numbers were 16 bit value. We must not exceed 65,535."
😁

I didn't actually mind that so much.
So many C64 games go for multi-colour sprites, it's nice to see the C64 flex it's high-res muscles every once in a while. 🤔 That random-falling-off-the-log in the staff level was rage-inducing though. 😡

Avenger is a cool game. It's like Gauntlet, but with a ninja. 😄 It really surprised me just how different a game it was from its predecessor: Way of the Tiger. But that was probably a wise choice as Tiger was .. flawed. 🙂

Yes!
I'm glad you guys like it. Because it's an awesome awesome game. 😄

It's not without it's flaws. Bodies covering the ammo can be infuriating, as can be finding the right exit point. But it's an excellent slash and shoot-em-up and climb over the pile of bodies game. 👍

Kung Fu Master (C64) was a good arcade conversion.
Like 1942, it wasn't particularly flash. But it captured the feel of the arcade game quite well.
