@daph2theb Some random Amiga suggestions for tonight..
Elfmania - an immaculately presented fighter
Ugh - the game is .. okay. I just like the intro. 😄
Zany Golf - it's totally mini golf. An old one, but a good one.
Atomino - a puzzle game that kinda fits in the same family as Pipemania.
@ville_wikstrom @Nintendork9 @ColonelFalcon @DANIELakaDEE @RetroVidGaming @replicantpinky @TsakuraWataame @8bitToNow @wotnogravy @Wildestdream93 @GamersWeekPC @timcwilcox Nice. 👍
Ultima II through V were really my jam.
But they were just an excellent place to be at the time.
(And an awesome way to while away my teenage years.) 😄
@cSportDriving That's a very arty angle there.
I don't think even Lotus III had any options like that.
😉
@C64Reloaded Excellent game. It was the random bombs and the cracked tiles that really amped up the tension. (Though the did go a little crazy on the cracked tiles later on.) 🤔 Great fun. Best played with the Nostalgia version with many trainer options for both versions of the game. 👍
@Lord_Arse @gordoslair They should just call it "Nude Guy with Rock".
That's how you get it noticed.
😄
@C64Reloaded I think Spindizzy is a good example of when a very good joystick is needed over a joypad here. The movement dexterity required is high. 🤔 These days I find it's a lot easier to just roam around with an infinite-time cheat. 😋
@NickTheFire Of course, like most people posting here, I played the C64 version for a while before coming to the Amiga version. And, sure, it doesn't look as impressive. But the C64 version has a pace to it that makes the game more exciting to play.
@NickTheFire I had Buggy Boy on the Amiga too.
Not a bad game. Graphically it was quite impressive. (Lots of hand-drawn sprites at every size, rather than the hardware-scaled sprites of the arcade. So it looked very nice in that regard.) Options to play a lot faster with the WHDLoad install.
@SergioGrazzini0 @exceptionsplays @Muskelsmurf @Nintendork9 @pablo_0151 @damgentemp @SuperMargaBros @billysastard1 @JiswaPROJECT @RetroBoyJon @RetroMayhem81 There was an extra set of tracks for Super Off Road too. Thought I never saw them out in the wild.
They're not too bad. Would have been fun to try on a real machine.
