Today’s #1000postcards is the Badger! There is one coming at night to the bird feeders to eat the peanuts & the fat balls I haven’t seen it yet but I know it’s been because there was a large badger Poo waiting for me there this morning #badgers
This little creature is called the #DecemberMoth although it can be seen flying from October to December I’m always amazed by those Denis Healey eyebrow antennas. It’s caterpillars feed on oaks & other deciduous trees #1000Postcards #MothsMatter
I enjoy Christmas as much as the next non-humbug-er but wouldn’t it make sense to miss one Christmas to be able to stay alive for the next 30? #Christmas2020 in keeping with the year it ends might just finish one off too or possibly kill granny hmmmmmmm
Today’s #1000postcards is the fox who comes to our garden in winter to eat the fat balls I put out for the birds He is a handsome fellow & we don’t allow the local hunt on our land EVER!!!!
Today’s #1000postcards are a pair of nuthatches who I haven’t seen for a while maybe the cold weather will bring them to the peanut feeder soon
