A beautiful plant related to the umbellifers/apiaceae not a holly or thistle (altho the name is Greek for thistle)
I love these plants but they are evil to illustrate!

This is a European otter, Lutra lutra, eating a Brown trout.
Although lots of people have seen otters at The Warren in #hayonwye I'm yet to spot one. Brown trout we see often,leaping out of the river.

This Arabian horse was done for a greetings card company some years back.
It's the only time I've illustrated a horse, im actually really scared of them. For some it's spiders... For me it's horses.
