Few WIP pieces that didn't make it to my earlier @hicetnunc2000 drop. #pex #generative @nodes_io . I might stick to this isometric view for a bit.
The project is special for me and it's culmination of long term fascination with the atmosphere and painterly style of @simonstalenhag, @quayola, Visualize/Haujobb and @bugmeyer and many others. Proper write up on my blog with links and more references is coming.
A bit more behind the scenes of the simulation we did for @aairfootwear. This ain't @sidefx #Houdini but the live coding + realtime aspect of @nodes_io allows for exploratory process without breaking the flow. Super important if you don't know initially where are you going. 1/4 https://t.co/h5OyecKr0J
To improve variety I've cut the original 100 illustrations into 2000 slices. You can find them all here https://t.co/k4HrH0xBeI
When you do a project and 4 years later discover it was already done in 1971. Floraskin – Huth & Domenig https://t.co/EjMUDda38L vs UCC Organism https://t.co/vzKD2oGCON
In @nodes_io I can start with simple generative geometry (2nd screenshot) and continue improving gradually it by adding colors, materials, plug-in data or program animation while maintaining state, layout, camera etc. This is not limited to 3d graphics
@fedfragapane You will love my good old Cindermedusae then https://t.co/0kO3AOukpp
