One thing I know I want for this game is being able to build up large, arbitrary landscapes with a loose, painterly approach to both surfaces and perspective.
Turns out there are very few resources for how to do so in pixel art and I basically have to invent technique as I go 😅
Some aspects of Elvia’s character made their way into Ronnie’s design, including running jokes about Y2K.
Ronnie was later aged up into her early 20’s and pushed a bit more trad goth, with her and Abby having an amateur darkwave act perpetually seaking a replacement keyboardist.
