Then I started helping in the maps environments. I began with different building to populate the city. I was inspired by the #manga and other references such as some concepts for #overwatch buildings. I used hatching in the texturing to get that manga feel we were after
I made plain textures so it would fit the overall #artstyle of the game. Then we added the in-engine outline + cel-shading #shaders made by our graphics programmers @DatBeQuiet & @sandruskiag. Despite Alita's suit being based in the movie I tried to maintain the #manga aesthetic
