Well, the jokes on me.
A couple of weeks ago I was complaining about the ST:TOS shuttlecraft, saying it was basically a hollow box.
Somebody pointed out the engines were strapped on the side.
Turns out the CIRA/AAS EAGLE is exactly the same.
Why? Common Pressurized Structure.

Because it is relatively simple, I'm trying to model a Project Moonlight CIRA/AAS EAGLE (European Advanced Gear for Lunar Exploration/Exploitation)

I keep seeing old images with mysterious teardrop shaped patches aligned with the RCS.
Protection from thruster plumes?
