Turns out my shader would cause the rendering pipeline to occasionally crash and lose the WebGL context. Had to make changes that affected the look slightly, but got lucky it's aesthetically similar.

Lesson learned; test on platform during development.

Slowly but steadily minifying this in between working on client projects. Thinking I may title it "Erratic" as it is meant to represent a chaotic state of mind; how I have sometimes felt recently due to market and work pressure.

Woke up with a "twisted" idea this morning and just had to try it out and am happy my curiosity was piqued.

☝️...also quite happy with the range of compositions the algorithm can produce now. There is absolutely a mean where similar-ish exists, but I'm loving the natural rarity of outputs like this that result purely from certain combinations of variables, rather than specified ranges.

☝️...a few examples of the emergent designs that have resulted in my test runs today (same script, different seed hash). Maybe a couple dozen of these popped out from the thousands I've generated.

Quarantine #92 - figured I'd share one given I've been sick and tested positive for COVID and thus will be in my own little quarantine for a week. Not that big of a deal since I rarely leave my apartment normally :P

Iteratively translating then polar reflecting coordinate space by a growing random amount. Just a rough #wip at the moment, but I'm liking many of the outputs. Not sure how or where I may release this one, thoughts?

Experimenting with using @midjourney this morning for stylistic research and ideation. Mostly an excuse to play and learn how to feed it useful prompts, but curious to see if a tool like this fits into my pre-production creative processes. #AI #conceptart
