Playing with some cloth physics on the skirt for @EpicKStudios' WIP character/rig. It actually runs surprisingly fast without baking!
Working on a metal shader for @EpicKStudios' character where vertex colours are used to control where highlights and AO appear and then combined with edited normals. Cool way to implement more stylised shading. Render with lineart in comments plus preview of the vertex colours :D
@engi40 @EpicKStudios Vertex painting is just applying paint in vertex paint mode to the vertices/faces themselves rather than using a texture map. Much less detailed and is very dependent on your topology. I'm sure there's some good tutorials on YT about it! :D
Some progress on @EpicKStudios' character WIP... testing painted vertex AO in combination with edited normals in a bunch of areas (mostly upper armour pieces). Slowly getting there (and I totally keep forgetting to press record, oops!) #3d #bnpr #blender3d

@_Martine_R @AversionReality @EpicKStudios Topology for another commission I'm working on that will be realtime (i.e. no subsurf). I've cut this one to support normals editing.
Some more progress on @EpicKStudios' model! Trying as well to get some good recordings to go with it...
