This looks great! I'm curious to see the topology. Do you have "support" loops around the shadow zones? Also, something else to consider with the shading is the side silhouette.

This is looking good! Note that the first edgeloop (the one I've drawn over in green) should define the shape of the face for the 3/4 view. It'd look more like the blue line I've (roughly) drawn. :3

Here's a quick rendered comparison + Freestyle in The sharp edges and creases on the 2D model "tell" Freestyle where the lines should go and exaggerate + define the form. There's also some visual things to know like the depth of the mouth.

Here's a turnaround of Callisto! Still working on fixing things, but she should (hopefully) be ready by this weekend.

Got some more work done on Callisto's hair in between dealing with a loss. Hair technique is something I learned from studying the Granblue models... shading consists of edited normals (need some smoothing) and a ramped soft-edged texture which allows you to edit the "depth".

Still working on the hair, mostly the fringe. The pink lines are creased edges. When you have the subdivision surface modifier on, your work (especially stylised work) loses sharpness and shape -- marking hair edges and tips as creased restores the form.
