The upcoming Krita 5 is going to include the MyPaint brush engine! That's terrific news, and it means I can trot out my very first brush set as part of the next brush update.

I know, I'm spending a lot of time on this octopus.

Still work-in-progress. One thing I'm doing different is letting myself take better advantage of layers. In the past, I've had a habit of trying to do too much on one layer, probably worrying about my older PC's performance.

@LordWordfab Pardon me, I'm in philosophizer mode. Brought on by not enough sleep.

Well, I have to say that I'm using this month as an opportunity to experiment, and this came out a bit sloppy. 😅 I don't think I'm great at color, and my watercolors are wobbly to boot. I may try a plain ink wash next time.
