@KungFuMan316 Reposting the art because the original poster is blocking people. It's a thread full of people who think this is great because they get off on the poorly-executed punch in the second panel.
@koku____ Family units (traditional and otherwise) seem to me to be a constant in anime, just behind high school settings.
Families are all over the place in Dragon Ball, as they were in Dr Slump before it. Manga/anime focused on ordinary family matters (Atashin'chi, The Yamadas), etc.
@TonyMoney_CCN Oh, tons. afaik she's the wealthiest mangaka thanks to all of her successful titles.
Her first big hit was Urusei Yatsura in the 1980s, which is reportedly being revived for a new anime this year.
Most younger people would be familiar with her more recent hit, InuYasha.
@gatecomics1 @DonalTDeLay @chloehandler You can tell from the stuff on Kickstarter that it's atrocious, no need to pirate. The artist has no idea how to draw settings or characters, and the satire is predicated on not knowing anything about the target but their own Twitter tattle.
@gaspnoway @TimRunsHisMouth whew, I think that one's a completely different super villain.
A little farther along, but I think today I'm going to work on the layouts.
Still don't have a title.
Didn't find much time to work on this today (so far) about to get back to it. My painting technique is looking less hideous to me after working up a few alt brushes.
Flagged for boobs and a scaaaary monster! 😄
@BloodyRedBaron If Uncle Ben had survived and insisted on taking part in Peter's light-hearted adventures despite having no super powers of his own.
