I love exhibiting and all that it entails but it is so good to finally be back at the easel. First proper painting day in a month. Still a lot of admin / transport / sales to tie up post exhibition but for now enjoying exploring colour in this large portrait

Really enjoying being able to reassess these portraits & notice details in the space this week. I had forgotten so much about their particular surfaces & qualities. Its almost like catching up with old friends #queerportraits @DN_Brixton
