Happy birthday as well to artist @BrentEA, who 40+ year ago (together with inker @mcleodbob) made the 5-page Angel story of mine published in Marvel Treasury Edition #27 (1980) more magical than I could have dared hope.

Sorry to hear artist Ken Kelly has died. I first encountered him at the beginning of his 50-year career, through his early covers for Castle of Frankenstein. He went on to do much more — including album covers for Kiss — but that early work will always have a place in my heart.

@theegothicdisco @catvalente The Wiz is one of his most famous ones ... but how can you not love Music for Space Squirrels? In any case ... that book cover deserves to be a poster, too!
