Happy 72nd birthday to Jim Starlin, to whom I owe a double thanks. First for the sketch he drew of his fanzine superhero Doctor Weird at a con when he was 20 and I was 16 — and second for inventing Thanos, with whom I got to play six years later in a Logan's Run #6 back-up story.
Happy 95th birthday to national treasure Ramona Fradon, who I fell in love with when I was a kid because of her amazing art on Aquaman and Metamorpho. Thanks for everything — and especially for the way you brought one of my own stories to life. Have a great day!
