Today is #HolocaustMemorialDay so I want to share a book about one of the special people who risked all to try to keep others safe. Meip Gies actions helped the world know and gave the horror of the Holocaust a human face. @MeegPincus and #JordiSolano have created a treasure.

So sad to hear of the loss of Terry Jones. I know he’ll be remembered for being part of Monty Python.

I’d also love him to be remembered for his brilliant children’s stories which were absolute lifesavers when I first started teaching. They still read brilliantly now #RIPTERRY

Rose Blanche is obviously wonderful. I also for a longer read would recommend The Machine Gunners by Robert Westall.
